Signing a one-year deal with the Texans on Monday worth $2.5 million, Chubb should return to Cleveland when he’s ready to hang it up, and retire as a Brown, even if he never plays another snap for the club. He’ll definitely go into the club’s Ring of Honor, but should also close out his career here where it started.
Despite that gruesome injury in college, Chubb's ACL was still intact. That wasn't the case with Chubb's 2023 injury, and his performance declined upon his return in 2024. Chubb played eight games and rushed for 332 yards (102 carries) while averaging 3.3 yards per carry.
