The club is reportedly pushing hard to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko before the September 1 deadline, and they’re doing it without needing a fire sale of unwanted players. On paper, it looked like United were tight on funds after already spending big on Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.

According to Sky Sports Germany journalist, Florian Plettenberg, Sesko has already told his RB Leipzig teammates that he will be leaving the Bundesliga club in the midst interest from England. In the report, it is claimed that both United and the Magpies are pushing to sign him.
