Missing the cut at the first two majors left Brooks Koepka in a miserable mood. He responded Thursday in the first round of the 2025 U.S. Open.

There hasn’t been a course on the PGA Tour this year quite as grueling as Oakmont, where the U.S. Open is being held this week. While he spends most of his time competing in the LIV Golf League, he’s still eligible to play in the PGA Tour’s major championships — though he missed the cut at both the Masters and the PGA Championship earlier this year.
