The Boston Celtics swung a trade ahead of Thursday's deadline, reportedly sending backup guard Jaden Springer to the Houston Rockets in a salary dump.

They first acquired Jaden Springer from Boston in swapping second round picks, subsequently waiving the youngster. Secondly, they added Hawks center Cody Zeller — who ins’t expected to massively contribute — as well as another future second.
