Cybercriminals are exploiting GitHub to spread credential-stealing malware through fake repositories, cybersecurity firm Kaspersky has warned. The campaign, dubbed “GitVenom,” involves attackers creating seemingly legitimate projects filled with malicious code that infects users’ devices upon download.
