MOSCOW, June 2 (Reuters) - The Russian Defence Ministry said on Tuesday that its massive overnight strike on Ukraine was a response to what it called "terrorist acts" against targets inside Russia and said it had struck a range of Ukrainian military targets.

A large-scale overnight Russian missile and drone attack on Kyiv killed at least four people and injured dozens, including children, Ukrainian officials said.

As Russia hammers Ukraine with bombs and warns foreigners to flee its capital, analysts think it may reflect a war "shifting in favor of Ukrainian forces."
