The Los Angeles Dodgers are reportedly “lurking” as potential suitors for Miami Marlins ace Sandy Alcantara ahead of the MLB trade deadline, according to USA Today’s Bob Nightengale.

The 64-year-old former manager of three division champions said managing at baseball's highest level has "passed me by."

This budding Miami Marlins star has increased his trade value tremendously with the MLB trade deadline looming.

Alcantara, who won the NL Cy Young Award in 2022, has struggled in his first season back from Tommy John surgery. The 29-year-old enters MLB games today with career worsts in ERA (7.14), WHIP (1.49) and OPS allowed (.758).
