Hours after MSNBC boss Rebecca Kutler officially announced that Joy Reid’s show was ending and the longtime host was leaving the network amid a programming overhaul, Reid devoted her final broadcast to instructing her viewers on the ways to resist throughout Donald Trump’s presidency,

“I’m not sorry. I am not sorry that I stood up for those things,” Reid said as she ticked off a list of issues that her show, “The ReidOut,” regularly covered, including Black Lives Matter, Asian Americans “being targeted,” Gaza and immigrants.

Well, that didn't take long. Shortly after MSNBC announced the most ironically named host in cable TV history -- Joy Reid -- was out at the network, Rachel Maddow came on air and named the real culprit: not the corporate shake-up,
