The Belfast man accused in murdering his wife and injuring his mother in Readfield was scheduled to be in court Friday, but it didn’t happen.

Samuel Whittemore, 34, accused of murdering his wife, Margaux Whittemore, 32, in an incident at his family's Readfield home in which his mother, Dorothy "Darcy" Whittemore was also injured.

Samuel Whittemore, 34, of Belfast, was charged with murder after Margaux Whittemore, his wife, was found dead outside his parents' home in Readfield Wednesday.
