The 50th anniversary celebration of “Saturday Night Live” is so big, it's not even on Saturday. Airing Sunday and spanning three hours, the, yes, live “SNL50: The Anniversary Celebration” will assemble a dream team of stars who have helped the show become an enduring pop culture force,

"I can’t wait to celebrate 50 years of the legendary 'SNL' and speak to some of my all-time comedy heroes who have inspired me so much," Dimoldenberg said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

Adam Sandler, Amy Poehler, Chevy Chase, Eddie Murphy, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Molly Shannon, Tina Fey and more will appear in "SNL50: The Anniversary Special."

On Feb. 15, NBC will re-air the first-ever episode of “Saturday Night Live.” The telecast comes one day before the network’s three-hour special celebrating the show’s 50th anniversary.
