John Charles Robinson called Spirit Airlines saying someone was "gonna try to blow up that flight," an affidavit says.

A Michigan man has been arrested after missing his flight to Los Angeles and calling in a fake bomb threat after being made to book another flight, officials said.

The FBI says a man who missed a Spirit Airlines flight from Detroit to Los Angeles called in a bomb threat about that flight. Passengers were removed and the plane was searched. NBC News’ Tom Costello reports.
