STAMFORD, Conn. – April 8, 2025 – NBCUniversal earned 48 Sports Emmy Award nominations for 2024 – NBCU’s most since 2013 (58) - highlighted by nominations for its coverage of the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad from Paris, France, Sunday Night Football, the 150 th Kentucky Derby, golf, and more.

The former Alabama football coach was nominated for "Outstanding Personality/Emerging On-Air Talent" at the 46th annual Sports Emmy Awards. Saban is nominated along with Prime Video's Ryan Fitzpatrick, ESPN's Jason Kelce, Prime Video's Richard Sherman and CBS/TNT's Jay Wright.

Former Alabama coach Nick Saban racked up hardware during his time as a college football coach. After his first season on television, he's already getting notice. Saban was nominated for a Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Personality/Emerging On-Air Talent for his work as an analyst on ESPN's "College GameDay.
