According to data gathered by AAA, across Texas the last week has brought increased gas prices for almost everyone in the state.

As reported by the AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch, the average gas price across Texas was $2.77 per gallon for regular unleaded fuel on Thursday. This price is three cents more compared to last week and a decrease of 13 cents compared to the same day last year.

The average fuel price in state has rose about 5 cents since last month. According to the EIA, gas prices across the state in the last year have been as low as $2.51 on Dec. 16, 2024, and as high as $3.27 on May 6, 2024. A year ago, the average gas price in Texas was 4% lower at $2.60 per gallon.
