Manchester United placed their initial bid worth £55 million in early June. However, it was rebuffed and followed by a £62.5 million offer at the end of the month that also fell short.

Manchester United have reached an agreement with Brentford to sign attacker Bryan Mbeumo in a deal that could be worth up to £70million. It is understood United will pay £65m up front and up to a further £5m in add-ons. United's most recent offer for the Cameroonian was their third bid of the transfer window.
