A woman's body recovered Monday from Lake Michigan is that of a missing Chicago teacher, her family said in an update shortly after the discovery.
In the first shooting of the weekend, Chicago police officers found a 43-year-old man near the sidewalk around 6:45 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Sawyer Avenue with a gunshot wound to the body. The victim was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
“Watching the tape, it’s just credit to them for being able to pull out a 21-3 deficit there at halftime, and the defense bowing up in the second half, only allowing six points, and then offense slowly chipping away and finding a way (during the) last three possessions to score touchdowns.”
The Chicago Bulls are currently 10th in the Eastern Conference, and as a result, could be major sellers as the NBA trade deadline approaches. Whether the team sells on Nikola Vucevic, however, remains a big question.
