The Pistons will get forward Josh Richardson from the Miami Heat, according to The Associated Press, and a league source confirmed to The Detroit News that Warriors guard Lindy Waters III will come to the Pistons, as well. The deal has not completed, and some of the details could be tweaked before it is finalized.

The NBA insider also reports that Butler has agreed to a new two-year, $121 million extension with the Warriors that runs through the 2026-27 season, and is declining his player option for the 2025-26 season.
