Anthony Edwards made franchise history following his 32-point outing in the Timberwolves' win over the Spurs on Sunday night.

The Denver Nuggets fell short of advancing in the NBA Cup against the San Antonio Spurs in what would be a high-scoring 136-139 loss for their fifth on the season, and an overall lackluster performance from the Nuggets on the defensive side of the ball.

Then, in a tie ballgame, with just over a minute to go, Devin Vassell activated the hidden clutch gene. He had already caught fire with 25 points and five threes, but he drained a go-ahead three to give the Spurs a slight edge.
