No. 3 UConn Men’s Basketball Barely Holds Off Georgetown 64-62
The no. 3 UConn men’s basketball team continued its unbeaten Big East run, but just barely. The Huskies squeaked by the Georgetown Hoyas 64-62 in a sleepy Saturday afternoon affair that once more relied on championship DNA to avoid disaster. UConn improves to 18-1 and 8-0 in the Big East, and have now won 14 straight.

The UConn men’s basketball team has been challenged in its last three games but, once again, proved to have the poise and defensive ability to prevail over late adversity.
Dan Hurley heaved a sigh of relief as UConn barely held off Georgetown. The Huskies squeaked by Georgetown 64-62, which had the recipe for disaster for UConn.
The No. 3 UConn Huskies (17-1) take their 13-game winning streak and unbeaten Big East Conference record into Capital One Arena on Saturday when they visit the Georgetown Hoyas (9-8), who have dropped their last four games.
The Hoyas give the Huskies everything they can handle in a 64-62 loss at Capital One Arena, but a late three-pointer fell short to help Connecticut escape.
Caleb Williams forced a turnover and threw down a dunk that trimmed the Georgetown Hoyas deficit to 28-22 against the UConn Huskies.
