On Wednesday night, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that veteran running back Miles Sanders plans to sign with the Cowboys on a one-year deal. Sanders spent his last two seasons with the Carolina Panthers, and prior to that spent four years with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Dallas Cowboys are adding another running back to their offense. The Cowboys, who already signed free agent running back Javonte Williams, are also adding free agent running back Miles Sanders, according to ESPN. It is reportedly a one-year deal, but the exact contract details are not yet known.

March 14 (UPI) -- Free-agent running back Miles Sanders agreed to a one-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys. Sources told NFL Network, ESPN and KPRC2 Houston about the agreement Friday. Sanders would join a backfield that includes Javonte Williams, who agreed to a one-year deal earlier this week. The Carolina Panthers released Sanders on Tuesday.
