News 12 reported this week that the roadway closed indefinitely after another sinkhole opened on the highway near Exit 34.

Another sinkhole in Wharton forced the closure of all eastbound lanes on Interstate 80 Monday at Exit 34 for New Jersey Route 15. In December a sinkhole closed I-80 for four days in the same town.
