A 25-year-old man faces a felony charge after an early morning shooting led to a SWAT standoff in South Fort Worth on Sunday.
The shooter heard and saw the burglar trying to enter a locked garage on his property in the 3400 block of Avenue L, according to Fort Worth police. The homeowner confronted the burglar about 6 a.m. and told him to leave. The homeowner fired multiple rounds at the burglar, shooting him at least once in the torso, police said.
