Rescue operations in Assam’s Dima Hasao district have led to the recovery of another body from the flooded coal quarry, bringing the total number of bodies recovered to two.

A body was recovered on Saturday morning by rescue teams from the rat-hole coal mine at 3 Kilo, Umrangso area, in Dima Hasao district of Assam, an official said.
