Milano’s impact came in a game where the Bills were without their star cornerback Christian Benford, who injured his toe in practice on Thursday. Benford had game-changing plays in the last two Bills wins and Buffalo needed someone else to step up to help get things right after the Patriots went out to a 21-0 lead early. Milano answered the call.
Stevenson was flagged after retaliating and making contact with Bills linebacker Matt Milano on the sideline in the third quarter of the game. Fortunately for Stevenson, both teams were flagged, and it was an offsetting penalty. With that said, Stevenson clearly regrets his actions on the field.
One other penalty that didn’t count due to it being off-setting - Rhamondre Stevenson’s third quarter matching unnecessary roughness flag with Buffalo’s Matt Milano - didn’t sit well with Patriots coach Mike Vrabel.
