The Nothing Phone 3a series is launching on March 4, featuring a new button, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, and a possible telephoto camera. Here’s what we know so far.

Nothing has announced the launch of a new smartphone in India on March 4. Ahead of the launch, Nothing Phone (3a) has appeared on certification website, TDRA, confirming the name and model number of the upcoming handset. The smartphone appeared with model number A059. Notably, the listing did not reveal any specification of the smartphone.

Nothing seemingly teases the existence of a physical camera button on the Phone 3a in a recent image on X. Apple notably features one on the iPhone 16, which lets users swipe through camera modes and snap photos without touching the display.

Nothing is gearing up to launch its next mid-range smartphones, the Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro, on March 4th. As expected from Nothing, it has now started dropping subtle hints about what you can expect from upcoming phones.

Every Nothing Phone model to date has had just two rear cameras. One as a standard wide-angle, and one ultra wide-angle. With no telephoto hardware available, zoom on Nothing Phones has always been handled by digital zoom, leaving them far behind most competitors in this aspect.
