The National Hurricane Center is tracking two weather systems in the Atlantic Ocean – neither of which pose immediate risk to the United States – while Henriette and Ivo wax and wane in the Pacific Ocean.

We continue to monitor two areas that could develop into the next named tropical storms in the Atlantic. The area with a 20% chance to develop has been struggling for about a week and will likely dissipate in the coming days due to the dry air in the Middle Atlantic.

Tropical Storm Dexter, the fourth named storm of the 2025 hurricane season, was a bit weaker Tuesday morning as forecasters continue to track it and two other disturbances in the Atlantic Ocean, according to the National Hurricane Center. None of the systems pose an immediate threat to Louisiana.
