It’s hard to deny that Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark is the most recognizable figure in the WNBA right now. So much so that even the biggest stars in the league have felt the impact of Clark’s massive influence on the fans.
Caitlin Clark did not suit up for Thursday’s game after the team announced earlier in the day that the 23-year-old had no timetable for her return from a re-aggravated groin injury. Despite the odds being stacked against them, the shorthanded Fever still came through to secure a crucial win against A’ja Wilson and the Aces, 80-70.
Clark recently suffered a right groin injury, and after being evaluated by medical staff, she'll remain in recovery and rehabilitation with no time timetable for her return. Her long-term health is the priority, and unfortunately, that means no hoops for now. (Clark will be on the bench for the foreseeable future until she gets better.)
