The Indian Army on Saturday morning said it had successfully rescued 14 more workers of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) who had got trapped under snow following the avalanche that struck near Mana village in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand,

Four Army choppers have been pressed into rescue operations to save eight people still trapped under snow in the avalanche that struck near Mana Village in Chamoli district of the state, district magistrate Sandeep Tiwari said on Saturday.

The Indian Army successfully rescued 14 civilians from the avalanche-affected area in Mana, Chamoli, on Saturday (March 1) morning.
