Crystal Palace are considering signing Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard as a potential replacement for Eberechi Eze, journalist Steve Kay has claimed. The Eagles could lose their highly sought-after English midfielder before the transfer deadline and are drawing up a shortlist of names who could take over playmaking duties if Eze departs.

Arsenal have enjoyed a fruitful summer on the transfer front and Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze remains in their sights as they look to strengthen further. Eze’s release clause is understood to be around £68million, but Arsenal have been hesitant to meet this fee and would ideally like to do a deal below that sum.
