The Cubs acquired utility player Willi Castro from the Twins, according to multiple reports Thursday. The Cubs are sending back Double-A pitchers Ryan Gallagher, the No. 8 prospect in their system, and Sam Armstrong to Minnesota in the trade, ESPN reported.
The Cubs landed Castro at the trade deadline, and the man of many positions had two hits and scored twice in his debut with the club Saturday.
