An opinion writer at the Washington Post who worked there for more than 40 years says she resigned from the publication after a publisher killed her piece on Jeff Bezos

Ruth Marcus, a longtime op-ed writer for the Washington Post, quit on Monday after, she said, her column criticizing owner Jeff Bezos was killed by publisher.

During her four-decade-long career at the Washington Post, the left-leaning Marcus has covered legal affairs, politics and policy.
