Following the deadly January 1st attack on Bourbon Street, NOLA Public Schools is now prioritizing safety for high school bands marching in parades during Mardi Gras season.

Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry seems to support the idea. NHL reporter Kevin Weekes reports, per a conversation he had with NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly, that a group interested in bringing an expansion team to New Orleans, recently met in New York City with league executives.
