Called the Middle Mesa Fire, it is now near Navajo Lake in New Mexico and has burned 2,500 acres. The fire has also pushed eastward and is in the vicinity of Tia Quinto and Devil's Canyon.

A wildfire in the San Juan National Forest has burned approximately 250 acres and forced the evacuation of several campgrounds.
