The Athletic’s David Ornstein reported Thursday that United bid $87 million up front and close to $7 million in add ons to Brentford for Mbeumo, and Sky Sports are among those sayin g the bid's been accepted and the Cameroon international is set for a medical.

Manchester United reached a $94 million transfer agreement for Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo. The 25-year-old is to undergo a physical as early as this weekend.

He has experience playing more centrally and could perhaps fill that half position between the No.10 and wing to provide United with a new outlet to exploit. But, could Ruben Amorim be about to pull off the ultimate gamble instead and sign Mbeumo to be the Reds' new centre-forward?
