The Pittsburgh Steelers appear to be a potential Super Bowl contender heading into the 2025 NFL season. After officially signing Aaron Rodgers, their chances jumped significantly, although there are still a lot more questions that need to be answered.

NFL Hall of Famer Steve Young is critical of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ match with Aaron Rodgers, who he does not see as a philosophical fit for the offense. Rodgers has become a quick-game thrower, something that Arthur Smith’s offenses do have, but Young could see the team getting too reliant on that fact and falling into mediocrity.

Rodgers accepted a team-friendly contract to join the Steelers earlier in June after his two seasons with the Jets did not go as he or that organization had hoped.
