A 14-year-old girl was taken by ambulance to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and a teen boy of unknown age with serious injuries was driven by someone else to the hospital. Police said no one was in custody.

AURORA, Colo. — Two teenagers were hurt in a shootout outside an Aurora roller skating rink Saturday. The Aurora Police Department said it happened at around 5:20 p.m. Saturday in the south parking lot of the Skate City on East Girard Avenue.

At about 6 p.m. on Sunday, the department said detectives learned that the 15-year-old had shot himself, and said no further updates to the case are expected.

Aurora police provided an update on a shooting in Montview Park, stating the teenager involved shot himself in the hand.

The teen initially told officers that two people had tried to rob him, but that report was unfounded, police said.
