Nine Inch Nails are set to release a new album this summer. The soundtrack for Tron: Ares will be available on Sept. 19, three weeks before the film’s release on Oct. 10. The LP marks the first Nine Inch Nails album since the simultaneous release of Ghosts V: Together and Ghosts VI: Locusts in 2020.

The electronic duo split in 2021, leading the way for Nine Inch Nails to take over for Tron: Ares. Announced this week, Amazon has opened preorders on the Tron: Ares 2xLP Vinyl Soundtrack by Nine Inch Nails. Set to release in mid-September ahead of the film, this is the perfect item to prepare for the next chapter of Tron.

Jeff Bridges and Jared Leto came to San Diego Comic-Con to promote the upcoming "Tron: Ares," the third film in the sci-fi franchise, and as part of the presentation they treated the Hall H crowd to two clips featuring the iconic light cycles — plus a new music video from composer Trent Reznor's Nine Inch Nails.
