Yankees Reportedly Trade for Giants' Camilo Doval, Rays' Jose Caballero at Deadline
Per ESPN's Jeff Passan, the Yankees landed San Francisco Giants reliever Camilo Doval. New York also traded for shortstop Jose Caballero of the Tampa Bay Rays, according to Passan. Jack Curry of YES Network reported the return for Doval:
Doval was sent down to Triple A last season amid struggles but had rebounded this year to regain the Giants' closer role.
If the roadsigns weren't any bigger than before, New York might've just been hit with their biggest all season long.
