Sep 29, 2022 · I have colonial police. resistance average is 70 and compliance average is 40. I need 60. However, I electrified ethiopia already. Compliance doesn't grow due to the colonial police modifier but resistance also doesn't grow, so if I switch I will prob face a revolt.
Why do so many people say Ethiopia wasn't colonized?
In Ethiopia’s case, Italian influence is extremely minuscule as Ethiopia retains most, if not all of its cultural heritage. Amharic is the state language not Italian. It is also worth noting that for a country to be colonised, it needs to be under full control of the region.

Æthiopia historically refers to multiple different locations in Africa (like how Sudan was historically used to describe West Africa). In Ethiopian languages, there is no letter for the “th” sound. Ethiopia is natively pronounced as “Ittyopiya”.

Exploration is also awesome for Ethiopia because you can colonize the Cape, thus blocking off the Euros, and make Zanzibar into a pseudo-endnode, then you can colonize the Spice Islands, steer trade to Zanzibar, and become filthy rich. Actually depending on your MP situation, you could even pick Exploration 2nd.

Extra research slot. +2 civs from the focus. Then under transformation of nature (+10 civ build buff) you get two focuses giving you 4 civs and 4 mils.

Feb 27, 2016 · Ethiopia seems to have been unique even prior to the colonial era in many ways--it was exposed to Abrahamic religion before most of the rest of sub-Saharan Africa and it consistently had some degree of central leadership (the Solomonic dynasty ruled in Ethiopia in some form for centuries, though I don't know how centralized the area really was).

Push from day one directly towards Addis Abeba. Focus air support on the regions you directly push through. Don't let them regain org once you made a breakthrough but keep pushing forward.
