Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s sea turtle nesting team has an important message to share in light of Hurricane Debby. We kindly ask the public to refrain from touching any sea turtle nests, eggs, or hatchlings on the beach. If sea turtle eggs or hatchlings are found, please call CMA’s rescue hotline at 727-441-1790, ext. 1. Initial beach surveys have indicated many nests have been lost in the storm. The nesting team will survey the beach again to fully assess the damage to the nests once the storm
