When I first started foil highlights I had no idea there was a difference between foiling away from the scalp vs close to the scalp🤯 Foiling highlights close to the scalp will always give you maximum control of your stitches and application. This is how you get those scalp highlights that look like they are growing out of your head! Foiling highlights away from the scalp gets you less control of your stitch but it’s a great option for an organic look because each stitch will be a different size
