🌼 Feverfew: A Powerful Medicinal Herb 🌿 Hello Honey Bees! 🐝 Have you ever heard of feverfew? This small daisy-like herb has been used in herbal medicine for centuries and is still valued today for its powerful natural healing properties. 🌼 Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium) is believed to have originated in Southeastern Europe, the Mediterranean region, and Asia Minor, and has since spread throughout the world. Today it’s commonly grown in herb gardens for both its beauty and medicinal uses. 🌿

The happiest bouquet. 💐🤗 Feverfew is one of my favorite cutting flowers. It has an herbal aroma like yarrow—and it’s used medicinally too! I’m in zone 7, and it grows perennially for me. I started these from seed, planted in full sun, and enjoy flushes of blooms in June and again late summer after I cut it back. 🌼 Meet Feverfew. The flower that looks like it just heard good news — every single day. With its cheery daisy-like face and bright yellow center, feverfew is basically a giggle in botanical form. It just makes you smile. Don’t be fooled by the name — this little plant is more sunshine than sick day. Historically used to treat everything from headaches to bad moods! Call it a medicinal marvel, call it a perpetual optimist — we just call it the happiest flower on Earth. 💛 #carlythegardenspot #ga

Feverfew From the name you’d think it cures fevers, and apparently it can, or at least it’s been reputed to. It contains a compound called parthenolide, which has been studied for that. Some tests were done in the 1980s, and the results were mixed. Who knows? Maybe you use it and it works for you. There’s often a grain of truth in these old remedies. It’s a rather pretty plant, part of the daisy family, though the smell is awful. Really strong. Some people love it, but many can’t stand it. Fever

The most common misconception is that plants don’t grow when it’s cold. While we can’t see any growth we’re forgetting that there’s a ton of activity happening under the surface. The roots are developing and as soon as we get some warmth in the spring they are going to take off! Here’s what I’ve got growing: - delphinium - foxgloves - campanula - feverfew - ranunculus - tulips - daffodils - anemones - ranunculus - sweet peas | Local Harvest Flowers

The Irish Garden on Instagram: "Get expert advice for the season ahead from The Irish Garden team. Grow feverfew as an ornamental plant. It is a beautiful plant, with white-petalled flowers that can be dried, and it makes beautiful bouquets. Seeds sown in spring will produce flowering plants during the summer. Discover more about this tip — and many more for a thriving year — in the latest issue of The Irish Garden."

Briana Bosch on Instagram: "THESE TWO are garden multitasking POWERHOUSES—but they often get confused for each other due to their similarity in appearance! They have quite different uses: feverfew is my favorite for a cut flower due to the stem sturdiness and bloom size but chamomile has so many uses and benefits as well. Feverfew is a short lived perennial (usually 2-3 years in my garden) while chamomile is annual but will reseed vigorously if you let it. Chamomile is more calming and typically

Red Deer Flower Farmer | Taylor Corrigal on Instagram: "One of the biggest mistakes I made when I started the flower farm was trying to grow too many things. I spent hundreds of dollars on seeds that I either still have or ended up giving away. Buying seeds is such fun, but it certainly isn’t best business practice when you’re trying to make money. If I were starting the flower farm tomorrow with the knowledge I have now, I would narrow down my grow list to these ten flowers. These are all are e
