You got to check out this traditional New England Fireside Feast. It's like a food channel and history channel show all rolled into one. The Salem Cross Inn in West Brookfield starts their Fireside Feast with Mulled Cider or Wine, next to their 17th century pulley rotisserie cooking the prime rib. Then you take a horse drawn wagon ride around their farm, pulled by two gigantic Belgian horses. Next they make their amazingly good chowdah from scratch right in an antique caldron in the fireplace.
