According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a crash happened on the northbound lanes of the Turnpike in the area of Bird Road at around 4 a.m. after a Blue Honda that was traveling the wrong way crashed head-on into a Silver Toyota. FHP said that a second crash also happened when a white Toyota collided with the two disabled vehicles and a trooper's cruiser.
