On October 6, 1997 live on WWF Monday Night Raw from the Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri, the WWF paid tribute to the legendary Brian Pillman with a 10 bell salute. Pillman was found dead at a Budgetel Motel in Bloomington, Minnesota on October 5th. Pillman was scheduled to wrestle with Dude Love at the WWF pay-per-view In Your House 18: Badd Blood that night.
