Around 2:30 am on Monday, a massive Kerala Water Authority (KWA) tank in Thammanam, Kochi collapsed, releasing more than 1.15 crore litres of water into residential areas within minutes. What followed were inundated homes, damaged vehicles and disrupted water supply. As quiet lanes turned into muddy channels, CITU Red Brigade volunteers and residents joined hands to bring life back to normalcy.
